About CEAF

I grew up small town — Midwest. This upbringing, in the plains, has lead to a passion for documenting what happens and what is experienced. I am an artist who works in the primary medium of photography. 

During my academic years, I studied briefly in New York, New York and Spearfish, South Dakota. Most of my photographic studies took place at Minnesota State University Moorhead where I received my Bachelor in Fine Arts with an Emphasis in Photography.

I am somewhat of an introvert. I feel most comfortable with full control over my creative process. I’m drawn to tying my photographic work into larger stories…some of these stories are real, some dreams, some extremely short, and some belong to my favorite songs. The journey is sometimes just as worthy as the outcome. As always, I know what I know.
